Included:
- Vehicles all tour: minibuses (capacity till 7 persons)/buses (capacity till 21 persons) in Addis Ababa + northern regions + extensions while Toyota Land Cruiser/s 4WD for the other tours, where needed (some part can be done by minibuses/buses, as GL things enough-as for example on Omo tour Addis-Arbaminch-Addis), with capacity till 4 clients/car
- 4* hotel (Imperial or Ghion or DeLeopol or similar) in Addis Ababa in BB (bed and breakfast)
- 2-3* hotels & camping out of Addis Ababa in FB (full board) in double/twin room occupancy (camping where necessary as Danakil program, some places Omo valley and all southern programs, trekking Semien, Kenya program & as written in the programs)
- Meals out of Addis Ababa (& other capitals) including non-alcoholic drinks during meals
- English speaking local guides each place on Historic route and English speaking driver-guide on Land Cruisers when till 7 persons and additional English speaking guide when from 8 persons on
- Entrances fees
- Cook or driver-cook for needed places
- Boat on Tana and/or Chamo lakes as on the program
- Pick-up for materials & cook + extra water during Danakil and where needed other place Needed Afar guides & police during Danakil and scouts other places where needed (as during trekking Semien mountains and other parks during tours);
- Mules for materials during the trekking on ErTale (Danakil) or during Semien Mountains
- Government taxes
Are not included:
- Drinks and meals in Addis Ababa; Alcoholic drinks and drinks out of the meals for all the tour; Flights, including embarkation fees, airports porters and taxes (quoted separately); Tips; Personal traveling insurance (is requested); Gorilla permits (Uganda trips) (quoted separately); All whatever not included under the list “Services Included”
- Please well note to read the hotels list we send for exact final hotels or camping. We are not responsible to use hotels or camping mentioned in the program. The exact hotels or camping are only those sent with or after the invoice with an email titled “htls list”
- We suggest all our travelers to adapt to the local situations, changes, and way of accommodation. Flight schedule might change or cancell due to aircraft problem, weather, or other. We’ll try in these cases to readapt the tours as much as we can.
Note well flights can easily cancel and delay, especially in high season (AUG, DEC, JAN) or summer due to weather problem. The Green Land Tours will try to adapt the program as can, but is not liable for any visit that clients might loose.
- Nothing is as at home; we are here to experience and taste the local atmosphere, with its accommodation, and any changes in the best positive way.
- Green Land Tours will do all its best to create the best situation and traveling facilities always.
Important notes on arrivals & departures:
a) Transfer airport-hotel is always provided. We also have a desk at arrivals, after luggage claim, next to one of the exit gates.
b) Arrivals: For those clients arriving with evening flight, the city tour will be done on the last day. For those clients arriving one day before, the next morning will be free and the city tour will proceed in the afternoon, as planned
c) Departures: if departures don’t fit with the dates we planned, for last day we can organize short excursion near Addis or additional tour in Addis. Discuss with us prior to your tour or with our sales office in Addis Ababa for the prices
- Guide: We provide English or multilingual guides. Other languages as agreement with the company/clients
- Please note clients must join other clients of different Nationalities. So is important to adapt with persons of different Nationalities.
And guests cannot request for private services if they are joining a tour. For private services, pls see or ask for supplement cost and so separate tour. And finalize prior to arrival in Ethiopia with the Green Land Tours very clearly.
